Green is in—especially in real estate

“Green” is the buzzword these days in regard to just about everything: cars, cleaning products, food, and, even in real estate. Everyone wants to save money and one of the easiest ways to do so without putting forth too much effort is to add some “green features” to a home. An eco-friendly house is different from an average house in that it is built to use less energy and is painted with paint designed to help reduce carbon in the air. There are a lot of other options that you can take, but the easiest is to install solar panels. Even a few solar panels strategically placed in the home will dramatically reduce the electric consumption, and add hundreds of dollars in value to the home you are renovating and significantly more “green to your pocket in the long run.
